Formerly known as The Old Bell Tavern, this establishment has been a cornerstone of the community since its inception in 1999, even welcoming former U.S. President Bill Clinton in 2001. Situated on the historic Royal Parade, accounts of the original ale house date back to the 17th Century when in 1786 it was said to have "provided a stock of the best wines and other liquors".
